Loyalty. Duty. A Wolf on the Hunt.
Find out what lurks under the surface of the inspector who defined the relentless search for justice.
JAVERT is an original musical reexamination of Victor Hugo’s Les Misérables. The 1862 novel is over 1,200 pages long. Yet, just a single page is devoted to the backstory of its chief antagonist, Inspector Javert.
JAVERT reimagines Hugo's story, granting the beloved Inspector the one thing his world denied him: mercy.
Haunted by the sister lost in his youth, a police inspector desperately searches for a kidnapped child, before his rigid obsession with justice claims his soul.
Blurring the lines between loving tribute to Hugo’s original masterpiece and self-aware meta-theater, JAVERT tells a story of Corruption, Mystery, Deceit, Revolution, Intrigue, Romance, and Tragedy, with a wink and a nod here and there.
